Southern Suburbs Netball Club offers a nurturing environment and welcoming community for players of all ages and abilities from NetSetGo (6-8yrs) through to Seniors (18+).
We actively participate in the Illawarra District Netball Association (IDNA). The competition runs in winter starting in late March or early April and continuing through to August or September (depending on the age group). Games take place at Berkeley (Juniors and Seniors) or Fairy Meadow (Juniors) on Saturdays and typically take a break during the NSW school holidays.

Training for Junior teams is held at the Netball Courts at Croome Road Sporting Complex.
Senior teams train at either Croome Road or Berkley netball courts, pending their coach and individual team arrangements.

The Southern Suburbs Netball club playing uniform consists of a shift netball dress in club blue and green colours and plain black shorts underneath.

About our club
Southern Suburbs Netball Club has built a strong reputation within the Illawarra region, thanks to its deep-rooted history and strong community connections.
Our club welcomes players of all ages, from juniors to seniors, and actively encourages their participation in the exciting IDNA Saturday competition.
We take pride in the achievements of our talented players who have been selected to represent IDNA in respected tournaments like the Netball NSW Metro League, Junior, Senior (Female and Male competition), and Masters NSW State Titles competitions. These opportunities highlight the exceptional skills and dedication shown by our members.
In 2015, SSNC celebrated a significant milestone by winning the Premier League premiership, the highest level of netball in the IDNA competition. This achievement marked the beginning of a successful journey. Today, our Premier League team along with all our junior and senior teams, continue to thrive and maintain a strong presence in the Illawarra netball community.
Registration
Registration begins in January each year and ends prior to the competition starting in late April.
