Southern Suburbs Netball Club offers a friendly, supportive environment for players of all skill levels, from juniors as young as 6 through to senior players.

Age groups and playing times
We proudly compete in the Illawarra District Netball Association (IDNA).
The IDNA competition runs from April to September each year, with scheduled breaks in line with the NSW school holidays. Matches are played on Saturdays. Times vary depending on age and/or playing grade.

NetSetNet – Net Skills is a skills only program (no matches) for children turning 6 to 8 years old.
It’s designed to teach fundamental motor skills through activities and games.
The NetSetGo – Net Skills program is run by the Illawarra District Netball Association.
NetSetGo is modified match play for 7 to 9 year olds. Check out Net Set Go’s modified rules

Our playing uniform comprises a shift dress in club blue and green colours, accompanied by plain black shorts worn underneath

Player registration for Season 2025 is CLOSED
If you would like to play netball for SSNC this season, limited spots may still be available, depending on your age and skill level.
Please submit a Player Expression of Interest and we will attempt to find a suitable team for you.

2025 Fees
- NetSetNet: Skills based program run by IDNA (6 to 8 years) – $104
- NetSetGo: Match play with modified rules (7 to 9 years) – $200
- Juniors (10 to 12 years): – $200
- Intermediates (13 to 14 years): $200
- Cadets (15 to 17 years): $200
- Seniors (18 and over): $225
- Non-Players: $0 (no cost)
Payment of fees is required to complete your registration.
In 2025, our fees include:
- Netball NSW & Illawarra District Netball Association fee
- SSNC club fee and fundraising levy
